PC-550 CATALYST
Liquid Catalyst

Product Description
PC-550 Catalyst is a single component, proprietary, liquid Technical Data (Based on Draw Down Film)
organometallic catalyst that reduces the cold weather cure time
of aromatic polyurethane polyurea coatings. PC-550 Catalyst is Specific Gravity 1.008 + 0.05
added to PC-550SC. Polycoat Products manufactures products
in different VOC’s ranging from 100 to 340 gms/liter to comply Total Solids by Weight, ASTM 100%
with VOC requirements in various regions. D2369

Color
Clear
Mixing
Mix PC-550 Catalyst in PC-550SC basecoat using a mechanical
mixer such as a Jiffy Mixer, until a homogenous mixture and
color is attained or for at least 5 minutes, if mixed by hand.
Cleanup
Equipment should be cleaned with an environmentally safe
solvent, as permitted under local regulations, immediately
after use.
Storage
PC-550 Catalyst has a shelf life of 1 year from date of
manufacture in original, factory-sealed containers when stored
indoors at a temperature between 60-95°F (15-35°C).
Limitations
For use in cold temperatures only. Excessive PC-550 Catalyst
will result in a reduction of the physical properties of the base
membrane. Adding excessive amounts of PC-550 Catalyst
may result in foaming. Containers that have been opened
must be used as soon as possible. Do not dilute under any
circumstance.
