Product Description
Polyglaze® AR/Poly-I-Gard 246 Catalyst is a single component, Technical Data (Based on Draw Down Film)
™
proprietary, liquid organometallic catalyst that reduces the
cold weather cure time of Polyglaze® AR or Poly-I-Gard 246. Specific Gravity 1.008 + 0.05
™
PC-550 Catalyst is added to PC-550SC. Polycoat Products
manufactures products in different VOC’s ranging from 100 Total Solids by Weight, ASTM 100%
to 340 gms/liter to comply with VOC requirements in various D2369
regions.

Mixing
Mix Polyglaze® AR/Poly-I-Gard 246 Catalyst using a

mechanical mixer such as a Jiffy Mixer, until a homogenous
mixture and color is attained or for at least 5 minutes, if mixed
by hand.
Cleanup
Equipment should be cleaned with an environmentally safe
solvent, as permitted under local regulations, immediately
after use.
Storage
Polyglaze® AR/Poly-I-Gard 246 Catalyst has a shelf life of
™
1 year from date of manufacture in original, factory-sealed
containers when stored indoors at a temperature between
60-95°F (15-35°C).
Limitations
For use in cold temperatures only. Excessive Polyglaze® AR/
Poly-I-Gard 246 Catalyst will result in a reduction of the
™
physical properties of the base membrane. Adding excessive
amounts of Polyglaze® AR/Poly-I-Gard 246 Catalyst may result
™
in foaming. Containers that have been opened must be used
as soon as possible. Do not dilute under any circumstance.
