ENVIROSHIELD 1005
®
Waterborne Aliphatic Urethane
Polyurea Sealer Coat
Product Description
Enviro-Shield 1005 is a waterborne UV-stable, aliphatic Technical Data (Based on Draw Down Film)
®
polyurethane topcoat / sealer coat. This waterborne coating
has been specially formulated as a durable, color-stable, Tear Strength, Die C, ASTM D624 400 ± 50 pli
abrasion resistant topcoat for wood and for re-sealing existing 70.1 ± 8.8 kNm
polyurethane/polyurea surfaces.
®
Enviro-Shield 1005 possesses an excellent balance of tensile Tensile Strength, ASTM D412 4200 ± 300 psi
strength, flexibility, toughness and abrasion resistance. The 28.9 ± 2.1 MPa
flexibility built into the polymer structure allows the coating
to move with the substrate in conditions of temperature. It can Ultimate Elongation, ASTM D412 300% ± 50
also be used as a top coating over polyurethane and epoxy
seal coats and base membranes. For post-finish application,
Volatile Organic Compounds 1.02
Crosslinker is required. ASTM D2369-81
This product does meet VOC requirements for SCAQMD areas.
